On January 5, 2011 Assistant Principal Dr. Vicki Kaspar lost her life and Principal Dr. Curtis Case was wounded during a school shooting at Millard South High School in Omaha, Ne. Dr. Case recovered from his injuries and continued to serve as the principal until the graduation of the Class of 2014.
In the fall of 2014, Dr. Case became the Director of Digital Learning for Millard Public Schools to help lead the District’s Digital Learning Initiative. In addition he was tasked to oversee the completion of a $5 million security bond project.
Dr. Case shares and demonstrates how the Millard Pubic School District is increasing school safety through the bond project that includes physical changes to facilities, integration of security hardware and software, training of staff, access control systems, and alarm monitoring/response…..
