Edward Purchase is the Public Safety Operations and Clery Act Training Coordinator at the University of North Carolina – Administration. He is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of system-wide training of Clery compliance officers/coordinators, campus law enforcement, emergency management, behavioral threat assessment teams, and other parties with responsibility for the safety and welfare of students, faculty and staff of the UNC System (17 separate institutions).
Edward presents at conferences including the Campus Safety Conferences. He holds a masters of public administration degree from Florida Atlantic University and has six years of experience in Clery compliance, five years in emergency management and eight years in the Florida Army National Guard in addition to serving as an instructor with the Clery Center.
